Ukrainian tennis player Hope Kichenok reached the quarterfinals of the doubles tournament WTA 250 in Austrian Linz.
Together with Anna-Lena Friedsam from Germany, a Ukrainian beat the Austrian duo Melanie Klaffner/Sinja Kraus. The two-set fight lasted one hour and 18 minutes.
In the first set, Kichenok and Fridzam won two innings of their rivals, losing one of their own. In the second set, the Austrians took the lead with a score of 5:1. However, Nadezhda and Anna-Lena turned the tide of the game, winning six games in a row and winning the match.
In the next match, Kichenok and Fridzam will play against the duo Han Xinyun/Lidia Morozova (China/-).
