Blue-yellows were not included in the seeding
Potential rivals identified national team of Ukraine in matches for the right to play in the qualification of the final tournament Davis Cup.
The blue-and-yellows did not get into the seeding – following the results of the recent confrontation with Lebanon, Ukraine rose one position in the ranking of nations and now occupies 36th place.
Thus, Germany, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Argentina, Colombia, Hungary, Japan, Austria, Slovakia, Norway, Romania or Brazil can become Ukraine’s rivals in the play-offs. The draw will take place on 9 February.
Note that in the case of matches with Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Kazakhstan and Norway, the place of the match will be determined by lot. Meetings with Japan and Norway will become home matches, the rest of the opponents will host the blue-yellows.
Matches for the right to play in the qualification of the final tournament of the Davis Cup next season will be held on September 14-17.
