The Ukrainian paired with Anna Danilina from Kazakhstan lost in three sets to the duo Louise Stefani/Zhang Shuai (Brazil/China). The opponents exchanged the games they won, and in the super tie-break, with the score 5:5, Lyudmila and Anna managed to lose the next five rallies.
