In the 1/2 finals, the Spaniard will meet with Alexander Zverev
Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal defeated the Serb Novak Djokovic and advanced to the semi-finals of the French Open.
Nadal, 35, won the first set 6-2, but then lost in the second set 4-6. However, Rafael managed to take over in the next two games – 6:2, 7:6 (4). The fight lasted four hours and 12 minutes.
In the semi-finals of Roland Garros, Nadal will play against the German tennis player Alexander Zverev. The match will take place on June 3rd.
Today, two more quarter-final matches in the men’s singles will take place on the courts of Paris, in which Andrey Rublev will play with Marin Cilic, and Kasper Ruud will meet with Holger Rune.
Djokovic is the current champion of Roland Garros. In the semi-finals of last year’s tournament, the Serb defeated Nadal.
