Two Russian tennis players have successfully overcome the first qualifying round for the ATP 500 tournament in Rotterdam.
Romain Safiullin managed to win a voluntary victory over Sweden’s Elias Humer in three sets, the match lasted more than two hours. For the right to enter the main draw, Safiullin will play with the younger brother of today’s opponent, Mikael Humer, who occupies the 73rd line in the world ranking.
Previously also qualified for the final Aslan Karatsev who confidently beat the 724th racket of the Dutch world Zidane Pontiodicromo, who was invited to the tournament on a wild card.
