Croatian tennis player Petra Martic beat Maria Sakkari of Greece in the semi-finals of the WTA tournament in Linz, Austria.
The tenacious meeting lasted more than two and a half hours. In the first set, the Greek athlete was stronger, but then Martic managed to win two games in a row and reach the final.
In the title match, the Croatian will play with Russia’s Anastasia Potapova, who edged Marketa Vondrousova of the Czech Republic earlier on Saturday. The final will take place on Sunday.
