Nadal: I don’t know what will happen after Roland Garros

The Spaniard does not make plans because of difficulties with his leg

Rafael Nadal spoke about the physical difficulties that the famous Spaniard faces during the current draw Roland Garros.

Yesterday, 35-year-old Nadal defeated Novak Djokovic in four sets in the quarterfinals and reached the German Alexander Zverev in the semifinals.

At the same time, Rafa is not yet ready to discuss plans to continue his career after the French Open due to problems with his leg.

“I’m old enough not to hide things, not to come and tell what I don’t believe in myself. I don’t know what can happen,” the Spaniard said.

“As I said earlier, I will continue to play in this tournament because we are in the process of making sure that I am ready for it. I don’t know what will happen after that. [турнира]”.

“I have this situation with my leg, so if we don’t find a solution or improve the situation, for me [игра] becomes very difficult.”

“I enjoy every day that gives me the opportunity to be here and do not think about what might happen in the future. Of course, I will try to find a solution, but so far we don’t have one.”

“In Rome, I didn’t have a doctor with me. He’s here, so we can do something. I am doing my best to play in this tournament in the best possible condition. After that, I don’t know how it will be, to be honest.”

In Paris, Nadal is fighting for his 14th Roland Garros title and 22nd at the Grand Slam level.

The semi-final match between Nadal and Zverev will take place on Friday, June 3rd. The beginning is not earlier than 15:45 Kyiv time.
