Andrei Rublev commented on the quarter-final defeat of Roland Garros in the match against Croatian Marin Cilic.
“He served very well, very strong. It was very difficult to win his shot. I should have remained calmer.
It’s all mental, I couldn’t control my emotions. I was very close to being in the semi-finals. Again, he couldn’t handle his emotions. Many points need to be improved,” Rublev said.
Cilic’s opponent in the semi-finals of the tournament will be Norway’s Kasper Ruud.
