Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz beat Serbian Dusan Lajovic 6-4, 6-2 on Friday to advance to the semifinals of the Argentina Open, a competition played on brick dust and continuing the brick dust tour of South America.
Alcaraz, number two in the world and top seed for the title in Buenos Aires, came from low to high to beat Lajovic in straight sets on a center court that was once again packed to see the world tennis sensation.
