Nadal: I intend to return to Roland Garros next year

Previously, the legendary Spaniard hinted at a possible retirement

Rafael Nadal plans to play Roland Garros next year. During the current French Open, the 35-year-old Spanish tennis player is experiencing problems with his leg and has previously hinted at a possible retirement.

“I am confident in myself and believe that I can return [на Ролан Гаррос]. I accept things as they are, I have no intention of making it look like goodbye,” Nadal said.

“We continue to work to find a solution to my foot injury. I intend to return to Roland Garros next year.”

Tomorrow, June 3, Nadal will play with Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals of Roland Garros. In the 1/4 finals, Rafael beat the world No. 1 Novak Djokovic.

Nadal has won Roland Garros a record 13 times in history. In total, Rafael won 21 Grand Slam titles during his career.
