Nadal wished Zverev a quick return to the field after his injury

Hispanic Rafael Nadal turned towards Alexander Zverev injured in the Roland Garros semi-final.

During the second set, Zverev twisted his leg and only managed to leave the venue in a wheelchair, then appeared in front of the audience on crutches. Nadal reached the tournament final on his 36th birthday.

– I know that he (Zverev) is fighting to win the Grand Slam tournament… The only thing I know for sure is that he will win it, and more than once. I wish him a speedy recovery, quotation Nadal ATP Press Office.

For Nadal, reaching the Roland Garros final was the 14th in his career, no one else has reached this mark. The last 13 Roland Garros final matches, which have reached the Spaniard, have invariably ended in his favor.

Zverev, 25, has reached just one Grand Slam final in his career, losing to Dominic Thiem in the 2020 US Open final.
