Russian tennis player Ludmila Samsonova rose to No. 12 in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) rankings on February 27.
In the updated list, the Russian moved up from 13th position. Last week, Samsonova reached the third round of the tournament in Dubai, where she lost big (1:6, 0:6) to Iga Sventek.
Swiatek remains at the top of the world rankings, followed by Arina Sobolenko and Jessica Pegula. There were no changes to the top 10 list – Russia’s Daria Kasatkina is still in 8th place.
