In the decisive match, the Norwegian will play with Nadal
Casper Ruud won Marina Cilica and became the second finalist Roland Garros.
Tennis players spent almost three hours on the court. Cilic won the first set with two breaks, but in the next three games Ruud did not leave the Croatian a chance.
During the match, Ruud filed 16 aces and converted five out of 15 breakpoints, Cilic scored 10 aces and two breakpoints.
In the third set, the match was suspended due to an activist running onto the court. The girl tied herself to the net by her neck and showed the inscription on the T-shirt “We have 1028 days left”, which she wanted to draw attention to the problems of climate change.
In the final of the French Open, Ruud will play against Rafael Nadal, who today defeated Alexander Zverev on refusal. The decisive match will take place on Sunday, June 5.
