German representative tennis player Alexander Zverev assessed the severity of the injury he suffered in the Roland Garros semi-final against Rafael Nadal.
During the second set, Zverev twisted his leg and only managed to leave the venue in a wheelchair, then appeared in front of the audience on crutches.
– A very difficult moment for me today on the court. Looks like I have a very serious injury. But the medical team and doctors are still examining her,” the tennis player wrote on social media.
For Nadal, reaching the Roland Garros final was the 14th in his career, no one else has reached this mark.
