On the eve of entering the field at the local stadium “Dubai Duty Free Tennis Center”, Medvedev made it clear that he has great respect for his next opponent.
“Alexander Bublik? We’ve known each other since we were eight, maybe nine years old. A great player. We had tough games. I think it will be tough. I like to see him play,” said the Russian .
“I like that he doesn’t care what people say about him, at least I think so. That’s what I really like about him. I feel like he’s very – what do you call it. Do you know that – special, but there is another word for it. Unique? Yes, he is unique. He is true to himself. I am waiting for a difficult match,” Medvedev stressed at a press conference .
