World No. 1 Serbian Novak Djokovic said he plans to compete in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
“I am looking forward to the Olympics. I hope that I will be healthy and that I can play in Paris. The matches will be played on the clay courts of Roland Garros, so I know these conditions. I hope that the best Olympic result for me will be there, – Reuters quoted Djokovic as saying.
Djokovic did not play in the Olympics final. The 35-year-old Serbian’s greatest achievement is bronze at the 2008 Games in Beijing.
The Paris Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
