Sventek wins Roland Garros for the second time in her career

The first racket of the world Iga Schwentek became the winner Roland Garros 2022. In the final, the Polish tennis player defeated the 18-year-old American Corey Gauff.

Iga scored 35 consecutive wins and won the sixth title in a row. Earlier in 2022, Schwentek won WTA tournaments in Doha, Indian Wells, Miami, Stuttgart and Rome.

Gauff played in a Grand Slam singles final for the first time. Tomorrow Corey and Jessica Pegula will face Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic in the Roland Garros doubles final.
