Marta passed the American Brengle, winning the third set 6:0
Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk came out in WTA 250 quarter-final in Austin (USA).
In the second round match, Kostyuk defeated American Madison Brengle in 1 hour and 45 minutes. The opponents exchanged won games 6:3, and in the final set Martha defeated Madison to zero, making three breaks.
Kostyuk will play the third quarter-final this year (reached this stage in Adelaide and Hua Hin) and will fight for the first semi-final. The rival of the Ukrainian will be Anna-Lena Fridzam, who defeated the Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska in the first round.
Recall that Kostyuk lost in the first round of doubles in Austin. Marta was paired with Yastremskaya.
