The Ukrainian tennis player in a duet with Anna-Lena Fridzam defeated the hosts of the competition in the USA.
Nadezhda Kichenok, together with her German partner Anna-Lena Friedsam, reached the semifinals of the doubles tournament of the WTA 250 series in Austin.
This happened after the Ukrainian-German tandem defeated the American pair Alisha Parks and Sloane Stevens in straight sets. The latter, before that, knocked out the Ukrainian duet of Marta Kostyuk and Dayana Yastremskaya in competitions.
Kichenok and Fridzam did not interfere with the Americans for long and beat them in two sets in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
