The Russian won in straight sets with the score 6:4, 6:4. The match lasted 1h36.
Medvedev is undefeated for 12 consecutive games, while Djokovic is on a 20-game winning streak.
This match was the 14th in the history of the confrontation between Medvedev and Djokovic. The overall score is now 9:5 in favor of the Serb.
In the tournament final in Dubai on March 4, Medvedev will play with another Russian – Andrey Rublev.
