The Ukrainian beat Edas Butvilas from Lithuania in three sets. The duel lasted two hours.
The Ukrainian won the first set, but the only break in the second set was a success for the Lithuanian. In the decisive game, Vitaly won all the opponent’s serves, giving up one of his own, and won the match.
In the first round of qualifying, the Ukrainian beat Timofey Stepanov from Switzerland. Sachko will perform for the second time in the main draw of the Challenger this year. In January, Vitaly managed to get into the main competitions of the tournament in Koblenz.
