Salvadoran Arevalo and Dutchman Royer became champions of Roland Garros in doubles

Jean-Julien wins the Grand Slam for the third time in his career

Representative of El Salvador Marcelo Arevalo and dutch Jean Julien Royer won Roland Garros doubles tournament.

In the final, Arevalo and Royer defeated Croatian Ivan Dodig and American Austin Krajicek. Tennis players spent three hours on the court.

Arevalo became the champion of the Grand Slam tournament for the first time in his career. Last year, Marcelo and Juliana Olmos lost in the final of the US Open in the mixed doubles.

Royer, 40, won the Grand Slam for the third time in his career. Previously, Jean-Julien and Romanian Horia Tecau won doubles at Wimbledon 2015 and US Open 2017.
