Carolyn Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic became champions of Roland Garros in doubles.
In the final match, the French couple won a strong-willed victory over the eighth seeded Americans Corey Gauff and Jessica Pegula – 2:6, 6:3, 6:2.
This is the second joint victory of Garcia and Mladenovic at Roland Garros. They previously won the Paris tournament in 2016.
29-year-old Mladenovic became a four-time champion of Roland Garros in doubles. In 2019-20, Kristina won the duet tournament with Timea Babos from Hungary.
