The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) have not yet made a decision on the admission of Russian and Belarusian tennis players to participate in Wimbledon 2023.
Last year, the AELTC and LTA announced that Russians and Belarusians were banned from playing Wimbledon and other competitions in the UK due to the situation in Ukraine. The WTA and ATP stripped the tournament of ranking points. Last week, the media announced that Wimbledon organizers would allow Russians to participate in the tournament.
