Agent Alexander Ostrovsky, representing the interests of the Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova explained the gesture of the athlete before the match of the third round of the WTA-1000 tournament in Indian Wells with the American Jessica Pegula.
Previously, the Polish edition of SportPL slammed Potapova, who played in the tournament match in Indian Wells against an American wearing a Spartak t-shirt.
“Nastya simply supports Spartak Moscow and is a fan of this club, which she spoke about several times in her interviews,” Ostrovsky told The Championship.
