Hispanic Carlos Alcaraz earned his 100th Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) win by defeating Dutch representative Tallon Greekspur at the Indian Wells tournament.
The second racket in the world beat its opponent in the third round of the tournament with the score 7:6 (7:4), 6:3.
The 19-year-old Spanish tennis player became the second fastest player to achieve 100 ATP wins, it took him 132 matches. The leader is the American John McEnroe (131), in third place his compatriot Andre Agassi (135), followed by the Spaniard Rafael Nadal (137), the Swede Mats Wilander/American Jimmy Connors (138 each).
Alcaraz has won 7 singles tournaments in his career, including the US Open.
