Angelina overtook Svitolina in the WTA rankings
Angelina Kalinina became the first racket of Ukraine.
25-year-old Kalinina climbed to 35th place in the WTA rankings thanks to reaching the second round of Roland Garros. In the status of the first racket of Ukraine, Angelina replaced Elina Svitolina, who took a break in her career in March.
Ukraine received a new first racket of the national rating for the first time since 2012.
Marta Kostyuk dropped in the ranking by 21 positions and ranks 79th. Following her on the list is Dayana Yastremskaya.
Roland Garros champion Iga Sventek leads the WTA rankings. For the first time in her career, the representative of Estonia, Anett Kontaveit, rose to second place.
