The Spaniard has yet to win the ATP tournaments, but his performance can be noted last year, when he reached the final of the Monte-Carlo Masters, where he lost to Stefanos Tsitsipas. At this tournament, Davidovich-Fokina has already met with the representative of Russia – in the match of the third round, Alejandro defeated Karen Khachanov (6:3, 1:6, 6:4).
Medvedev had a phenomenal game against Zverev, given that from the middle of the second set Daniil played with an injury. This victory was the 17th consecutive on the circuit for the Russian tennis player (Medvedev’s record is 20 consecutive victories).
