Russian tennis player Daniel Medvedev will take part in the ATP 500 tournament in Barcelona for the first time since 2019, according to Marca.
The tournament will take place from April 15-23.
Earlier, the tournament management officially confirmed the participation of Carlos Alcazar, Rafael Nadal, Kasper Ruud and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
On Thursday, Medvedev beat Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina (6:3, 7:5) to advance to the Masters semi-finals in Indian Wells. In the semi-finals, the Russian will play with the American Francis Tiafoe.
