Blinkova picked up a voluntary victory over Minnen in the first round of the tournament in the Netherlands

Russian tennis player Anna Blinkova beat the belgian Grete Minnen at the start of the grass court tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Holland.

After losing the first set with a score of 2:6, Blinkova then won the second set even more – 6:1. In the last set, the Russian made two breaks and gave up only one game on her serve. The match lasted more than two hours.

In the second round, Blinkova could face her compatriot Veronika Kudermetova, who will face the French Leolia Zhanjan.
