Athletistic/Tennis. Serbian Novak Djokovic, 22-time Grand Slam winner and world No. 1, will not play at the Miami Masters because he was not allowed to enter the United States for lack of a coronavirus vaccination certificate.
For the same reason, Djokovic did not appear at the tournament which is taking place these days in Indian Wells, where Daniil Medvedev (Russia) will face Francis Tiafoe (USA) in the semi-finals, as well as Carlos Alcaraz (Spain) and Yannick Sinner (Italy).
Additionally, the Miami tournament will be missed by Sebastian Korda of the United States.
