Hispanic Carlos Alcaraz appointed Daniel Medvedev the best tennis player in the world, noting the current form of the Russian.
On the eve of Alcaraz defeated Italian representative Yannick Sinner in the semifinals of the Indian Wells tournament. In the final, the Spaniard will play with Medvedev. Alcaraz is the tournament’s first number, Medvedev is coming off a 19-game winning streak.
“I really want to play against the best tennis player in the world. I always say if you want to be the best you have to beat the best, and I would say Daniel is the best player right now. He has a winning streak amazing.
For me it will be a very difficult test, but I am really ready for it. For the final, I will gather all my strength,” the ATP website quoted Alcaraz as saying.
