The rivals of the Ukrainians will be US tennis players
Ukrainian tennis players Lesya Tsurenko And Dayana Yastremskaya today start in the qualification of the tournament WTA 1000 V Miami (USA).
Tsurenko will play against American Coco Vandewey, and another US representative, Kathy McNally, will become Yastremskaya’s opponent. Matches start no earlier than 21:00 Kyiv time.
The last time Tsurenko and Vandewey played against each other in 2018 in the second round of Roland Garros, where the Ukrainian was stronger. And Yastremska in 2021 beat McNally in the first round of the tournament in Cincinnati.
Recall that at the tournament in Indian Wells, a few minutes before the start of the meeting against the Belarusian tennis player Arina Sobolenko, Tsurenko refused to play “for personal reasons.”
