Tsitsipas, after Medvedev, blamed tennis balls for injuries

Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas expressed concern about the impact of Dunlop tennis balls on players’ health.

Tsitsipas attributed his shoulder injury to the use of these balls, suggesting their characteristics could cause athletes physical stress.

“I think my shoulder injury was due to those bullets,” Tennis Infinity quoted Tsitsipas as saying.

The question of the quality of tennis balls was also raised by Russian Daniil Medvedev, who previously spoke about the difficulties of adapting to Dunlop balls and said he felt wrist pain when using them.
