Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko lost in the first round tournament WTA 1000 in Miami (USA).
In straight sets, the Ukrainian lost to the finalist of the US Open-2021 Leyla Fernandez from Canada. In the first game, Tsurenko led 4-0, but the Canadian managed to make a comeback, winning six games in a row. The Ukrainian took the lead 2-0 in the second set as well, but then managed to win only one of the next six games.
Recall that Lesya entered the main draw of the tournament in Miami, defeating Harriet Dart from Great Britain in the finals of the qualification.
