Ukrainian lost to second seed Ons Zhaber from Tunisia

Ukrainian tennis player Lesya Tsurenko dropped out after the second round of the competition WTA 500 in American Charleston.

The Ukrainian lost in two sets to the second seed Ons Zhaber from Tunisia. At the start of the match, Lesya lost five games in a row, and could not save the first game. In the second set, the Ukrainian imposed a fight, but in the end she lost three of her submissions against one from her opponent.

Recall that in the first round Tsurenko confidently passed Paulo Ormaecheu from Argentina. Lesya allowed her opponent to win only two games in the entire match.

At the tournament in Charleston, Elina Svitolina played her first match after a long break. The ex-first racket of Ukraine lost in three sets to Yulia Putintseva from Kazakhstan.
