World No. 1 Serbian Novak Djokovic will not participate in the tournaments preceding Wimbledon, according to the Serbian edition of Sportklub.rs.
After losing to Rafael Nadal in the Roland Garros quarter-finals, the 20-time Grand Slam winner traveled to Belgrade, where he spent several days. Djokovic is currently in Montenegro. Soon the Serbian will go to London, where he will prepare for Wimbledon.
Djokovic is the reigning Wimbledon winner. The 35-year-old tennis player has won this tournament six times.
This season, Wimbledon will take place from June 27 to July 10.
