Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova defeated American Cathy McNally in the quarter-finals of the ‘s-Hertogenbosch tournament.
After winning the first set “under zero” in 21 minutes, the Russian then allowed her opponent only one game in the second game. The total duration of the match was 43 minutes, Alexandrova succeeded 7 times and, in four games, failed to allow McNally to win a single rally.
In the semi-final of the tournament in the Netherlands, the Russian semi-final will take place – Aleksandrova will meet Veronika Kudermetova, who was previously stronger than Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic.
