Athletistic/Tennis. Alexey Selivanenko, vice-president of the Russian Tennis Federation, commented on the return of Daniil Medvedev to the front row of the rankings.

“To stay in first place, Daniil has to win the game. The ranking is such that you constantly have to do better than a year ago. Otherwise, he and his team themselves know everything better. You just have to play in tournaments and winning. If you are at the top, everything is perceived differently, but the position can change constantly if there is competition,” Selivanenko said.

On June 13, Daniil Medvedev topped the ATP rankings for the second time in his career. The previous time, the Russian tennis player held the position for three weeks.
