The match lasted 2 hours 51 minutes and ended with the score 7:5, 5:7, 6:2 in favor of Kalinina. It was Angelina’s first semi-final in the WTA-1000 category tournaments.
In the final, Kalinina will face the winner of the match between Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan, ranked sixth in the world ranking, and Elena Ostapenko of Latvia, ranked 20th in the world ranking. Both tennis players have already won Grand Slam tournaments.
