Medvedev at the Rome tournament repeated the feat of Agassi and Djokovic

Athletistic / Tennis. The third racket in the world, the Russian Daniil Medvedev, became only the third player of the 21st century to have managed to win titles at the Masters series tournaments in Miami (USA) and Rome (Italy) in the during the same season.

Previously, a similar achievement was submitted to Serbian Novak Djokovic, 22-time Grand Slam champion, and American tennis player Andrei Agassi.

Djokovic has achieved this three times (in 2011, 2014 and 2015). Agassi won the same season in Miami and Rome in 2002.

Rune turned to Medvedev after losing Masters final in Rome

In the Masters final in Rome, Medvedev defeated Dane Holger Rune with the score 7:5, 7:5. The Russian won a clay-court tournament for the first time in his career.
