Soviet and Russian tennis player Andrei Olkhovsky congratulated the Russian Daniel Medvedev with a win at the Masters Series clay tournament in Rome and called him one of Roland Garros’ favourites.
Medvedev defeated Dane Holger Rune 7:5, 7:5 in the final of the Masters tournament.

It makes few mistakes and performs all elements very well. Of course, Medvedev will be one of the favorites at Roland Garros,” Olkhovsky told the “Championship”.
For Medvedev, this is the first title in a tournament on clay, the fifth in 2023 and the 20th of his career. On Monday, the 27-year-old Russian climbed to second place in the world rankings.
