Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina reached the clay-court tournament final in Strasbourg, France.
In the semifinals, the 28-year-old Ukrainian defeated France’s representative Clara Burel 4:6, 7:5, 6:3. The tennis players spent 2 hours and 20 minutes on the court.
Svitolina will face the Russian in the final Anna Blinkova who beat No. 7 seeded American Lauren Davis earlier Friday in the tournament’s first semifinal.
