Belarusian tennis player Arina Sobolenko, champion of the 2023 Australian Open and second racket in the world, has expressed her opinion on Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk’s decision not to shake hands with Russian and Belarusian athletes during of the Roland Garros tournament.
“If she hates me, so be it. I can’t change that. There will always be people who love me and there will always be people who hate me. If she hates me, I don’t have negative feelings If I could “”, – said Sobolenko in an interview with AFP.
Recall that Sobolenko will play against Kostyuk in the match of the first round of the tournament on clay at Roland Garros.
