Athletistic/Tennis. Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova, ranked 11th in the world rankings, unexpectedly completed her performance in the first round of Roland Garros – 2023.
In her opening match, Kudermetova (11) was beaten 3:6, 1:6 by the 100th racket in the world, Slovakian representative Anna Shmidlova. The match lasted 1h20. Kudermetova had two aces, four double faults and converted three out of three break points. Shmidlova had an ace, a double fault and seven break points made out of ten.
It should be noted that Kudermetova was able to take her serve only once in the whole match.
