Russian tennis player Veronika Kudermetova qualified for the second round of the WTA 500 tournament in Berlin.
In the 1/16 final, the Russian, who occupies the 24th place in the world ranking, beat the fifth racket Arina Sobolenko from Belarus. Kudermetova lost in the first set with the score 2:6, but then took two games – 7:5, 6:4. The athletes spent 2 hours and 13 minutes on the field.
