Four out of 18 Russians have reached the 1/8 finals of Roland Garros

Athletistic/Tennis. Today, June 3, all matches of the third round of Roland Garros, in which Russian tennis players took part, ended. Four of the 18 Russians who played in the main draw of the tournament reached the 1/8 finals.

Note that the Russian derby has already taken place twice at the tournament, in each of which Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova won: first she eliminated Lyudmila Samsonova from the competition, then Anastasia Potapova.

In the fourth round of Roland Garros, Karen Khachanov will play with the Italian Lorenzo Sonego, Daria Kasatkina with the Ukrainian Elina Svitolina, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova with the Belgian Elise Mertens and Elina Avanesyan with the Czech Karolina Muchova.
