Svitolina’s current rating (192nd position) should not mislead anyone. Elina did not perform for quite a long time due to the birth of her daughter. Now the Ukrainian is quickly returning to her former condition and after returning to the pitch she has already managed to win the title in Strasbourg last week. Note that over the past two weeks Svitolina beat the representatives of Russia three times – twice Anna Blinkova and once – Varvara Gracheva. It should also be noted that over the past two weeks, Elina has jumped up the WTA rankings by 80 positions, and in the event of a victory over Kasatkina, she will return to the top hundred. In general, Daria will have a difficult match from a psychological point of view, because no one has canceled the complex of six defeats in six matches against the Ukrainian. In turn, Kasatkina at the current Roland Garros still goes without a set loss. This fact leaves optimism before the coming battle.
