Winning his first Grand Slam trophy at the Australian Open in January, Sobolenko continues to impress with his superior tennis. She made the final in Indian Wells and the quarter-finals in Miami before having an exciting season on clay.

Muchova should now return to the top 20 after Roland-Garros.
In personal matches, Sobolenko defeated Mukhova with the score 1:0. Belarus beat Mukhova 7-5, 7-6(4) in the 2019 Zhuhai semi-final.
