– For a child, winning two Grand Slam tournaments is an incredible achievement! This is very important for a 15 year old.
Korneeva has every chance of entering the world top 10! Not everyone even comes close to having such achievements at a young age. In the next two years she will be revealed as a player,” Chesnokov told Sport24.
Korneeva is ranked 331st in the WTA rankings. Thanks to the 15-year-old Russian, two titles in ITF tournaments, she also won the junior Australian Open.
